Hang-Up Our first memory of you both was listening to you shout ‘Fuck the Tories!’ down a voice recorder during an interview in your studio ahead of your Blue Murder solo show. What's your first memory of Hang-Up?

HU Can you remember the first piece of artwork you made that solidified your path as artists? What was it?

KP When I was 9, smudging my painting of a phone box that I’d spent hours working on slitting open the base of my clown punch ball to see how come it kept bouncing back at me, age 4  Above: Profit poster with Flying Leaps pasted next to Jeremey Deller's poster

HU You'll be creating some new and unseen works for Hang-Ten to which we're very excited about. Can you give us a sneaky insight into what you're working on for the show?

KP America’s Greatest Hits

HU You're very politically motivated with balls of steel and a side of humour, which are some of the best things about working with you. What’s the best thing about working with Hang-Up?

KP You always let us do what we want and pretend you like it

HU There are ten artists displaying in Hang-Ten - all very different in techniques and concepts. If you could collaborate with one artist in the show, who would it be and why?

KP We hate collaboration which is the tragedy of our collaboration

HU The last ten years of Hang-Up have been filled with plenty of peaks (and a few troughs that we can now laugh at...!) What's the last ten years been like for you two? Can you name a few key moments?

KP Got older and more senile. Takes the worry out of work

Last night hard-hitting artist duo KENNARDPHILLIPS opened their show MAY NOT in swanky Mayfair gallery @dadianifineart with their brilliant and politically charged photomontages with a guest reading of poem 'strong and stable into ruin' from @katetempestofficial!

HU Can you describe a specific work, series, exhibition and/or collaboration you have been most proud of?

KP We’re not proud of anything we’ve done but we’re having a great trip man

HU We'd have to say a favourite time with you was having the opportunity to exclusively launch ‘Shove’ – A limited edition based on your large installation at Banksy’s Dismaland. Can you name your favourite Hang-Up moment?

HU We know this question can sometimes be a cringe for artists, but we're putting together a Hang-Ten playlist and would like your input. What three songs would you like to add?

KP 4mins 33s John Cage, the National Anthem, Birdwatching in Latvia

HU We certainly have a few goals for the next few years - one includes world domination. What's the goal for the next 10 years?

KP Get a job.
