Nina Saunders Nina Saunders

Saunders is a multi-media Danish artist who lives and works in London and is known for her uncanny sculptural transformations of reclaimed furniture. By meticulously manipulating and distorting the shapes of her found materials she turns each previously owned household item into a redundant object. Her ambitious creations are not only extremely witty but also boast an elegant and mysterious character. Saunders’ works can be found in the collections of various UK institutions including the Hayward Gallery, Saatchi Gallery and Victoria & Albert Museum, as well as numerous international museums and galleries. Saunders has works closely with Hermes fabrics and continues to collaborate on large-scale projects including London and Paris Fashion Week.
